Building Bridges: How Station 19 Partners with Ministries to Expand God's Kingdom

The spaces you move through are important. They serve the people who walk through the doors and set the tone for each gathering that takes place. At Station 19, we consider ourselves partners not only in the process of designing and building your space, but also in helping you continue reaching others for Christ through the spaces you use.

Process of Collaboration

Working together means getting to know you and your ministry—both what you do and why you do it. Because we have the same desire to see God’s Kingdom grow, we understand your values and want to see your space come to life in a way that leads others to encountering God in meaningful ways.

At Station 19, we take the approach of “Listen First.” We want to hear your desires, concerns, and hopes for what your space can become. Instead of rushing through the process, we value hearing your thoughts and ideas so that we can design unique solutions that tailor to your situation. Listening to leadership and their vision for their ministry plays a vital role. “We want to guide and lead the leadership through the process,” says President Nicole Thompson, “so that they can multiply the Kingdom of God.”

Successful Partnerships Over the Years

The Highlands Church in Delano, MN was a project that we were honored to be a part of at Station 19. The Highlands Church needed a new space to worship that also included space for fellowship and community outreach. Listening to their specific needs and the reasoning behind them helped our team understand the importance of creating an adaptable space that can grow with them. Hospitality is an important theme for The Highlands Church, so we worked with them to incorporate a feeling of warmth into their new building, from the “front porch” style patio out front to the living room setup of the lobby inside. This new building quickly became a comfortable space for their congregation and each person who visits.

Another project that our team at Station 19 had the privilege of working on was Trout Lake Camps in Pine River, MN. Trout Lake Camps has been offering outdoor ministry since 1947. In the past, we’ve helped them create a new dining center, and more recently, we had the opportunity to partner with them on creating a new kids camp area. Trout Lake Camps had a vision for creating a one-of-a-kind space that was geared towards 1st through 3rd graders to enjoy. We listened to their hopes for this project and brought our ideas to the table, collaborating with them through each of the details. With everything age and size appropriate for kids, their new Wild Woods camp is now a space where children can have fun and make memories that last a lifetime.

Lasting Impacts

Projects such as The Highland Church and Trout Lake Camps have given those in the community safe and fun spaces to gather that cater to their specific needs. Through thoughtful layouts and unique features, both of these new spaces are better suited for the people who will visit them and can be used in ways that help both of these ministries grow and thrive.

True partnership means long-lasting results. At Station 19, we view each client relationship as a team effort, helping to set them up for success in their ministry. Through each project, we are here for you each step of the way and beyond if you ever need more help or continue to expand in the future.
