Your Vision. Our Experience

Station 19 walked with Sanctuary Church of North Minneapolis through the process of selecting a site and setting a development and construction plan. We partnered with the leadership through each stage of the process. The plan captures the vision of the church while serving as a transition between the residential neighborhood and West Broadway’s commercial corridor.

About the Church

Sanctuary is a diverse congregation dedicated to building bridges of reconciliation in North Minneapolis. They are providing a safe place for reconciliation and conversation in their North Minneapolis community.

Where They Built

Sanctuary Church selected an underutilized site with condemned & empty buildings. One of the buildings on the lot was salvaged—a heavy block warehouse building—to become the spacious, bright lobby for their new worship center. It will reference its industrial roots with exposed ceilings and beams. It is a transition between a residential neighborhood & West Broadway’s commercial corridor with access to bus & bike transportation.

How Station 19 Helped

When Sanctuary Church decided it was time to build, Station 19 was honored to become part of the team. We partnered with their leadership and congregation to help make their vision a reality. From finding the right location to capturing their heart for reconciliation and restoration, we became part of a team that is looking toward the future of North Minneapolis.
