Station 19 Architects partnered with the St. Odilia Catholic Community of Shoreview, MN for a facility remodel and construction project that would allow both the church and school to improve their services and expand their influence.

For the church, a lobby and a multi-purpose music room have been added to increase engagement. A dedicated, secure preschool entrance and playground have improved security of the church’s children’s ministry, and an updated brides’ room and newly redesigned cry room have expanded their ability to meet their community’s needs all the more.

The students, staff, and faculty of St. Odilia’s school have a new working and learning environment that promotes growth and supports the existing community. School administration has a new office suite with staff and youth lounges. Some of the other changes and additions to St. Odilia’s school: New and remodeled classrooms, an updated library, expanded science and technology labs, and built out handicapped accessibility.

Security, accessibility, convenience, and impact. St. Odilia’s vision for their community continues to expand, and their facility can now support both the growth they’ve experienced and the growth they envision.
