Glory of Christ Lutheran Church of Plymouth, Minnesota needed ministry space that would match the personality and life of their already updated sanctuary. By partnering with Station 19 Architects, the church was able to bring light and openness to once dark and closed off education, administrative, and community areas. By replacing an original dormer with a larger skylight, their existing exterior cross became visible from the main drive and the lobby and gathering spaces were flooded with natural light. A beamed entry canopy, new meeting areas (with one that includes a gas fireplace), expanded, convenient parking, and refreshed landscaping create a casual and inviting atmosphere.
This project brought a vision to life by adapting existing space to the community's needs and creating new space for the community to grow.
