MNTC Rochester - Men

MNTC Rochester

Rochester, MN – 46,000 square foot

We were challenged to transform this 30 year old, obsolete, nursing home into a 100-bed men’s residential and outpatient facility that had a refined feel of the neighboring “Mayo Clinic” facilities, but on a much lower budget! Work focused on creating a “guy-friendly” environment with updated finishes, room layout, and kitchen equipment. The old nursing stations were replaced with comfortable, tech-friendly lounges. Showers were efficiently added to each of the resident rooms to minimize cost and replace obsolete central bathing stations. A new welcoming lobby was designed to make visitors and new arrivals feel at ease and learn about the history, programs, and principles of Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge.
